We thought they were all sold but recently came across a batch of copies in one of our store rooms. This book is an opportunity to gain an insight of one of Philip Young's more unusual adventures that took place back in 1980.

Written by Philip Young, this is the inside story on how the Archbishop of Canterbury's Morris Minor, driven by the author and co-driven by the Rev. Rupert Jones took on the Himalayan Rally. Filled with unique pictures to illustrate an incredible journey in an unlikely rally car.

The book reveals how the church became involved after a chance encounter on a railway train, how sponsors were found, how the Rev. Rupert Jones agreed to co-drive, how the car was prepared, and how it survived nearly 3,000 miles of hard, rough motoring through India. Full of hints and tips on car preparation.

Hard back - 80 pages with black and white photographs - (approx 28 x 22 x 1.3 cm)
